- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
- 24 ladyfingers
- 16 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, mix together the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly, then arrange them in a single layer in a serving dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers. Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, let the ladyfingers soak a bit longer, but be careful not to make them too soggy.
