Description

These crispy, flavorful chicken skewers are coated in a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce and cooked perfectly in the air fryer. An easy and fun dish that’s sure to impress for lunch, dinner, or appetizers!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, honey, and soy sauce.
  • In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and cornstarch.
  • Dip each chicken cube into the mayo mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Thread the chicken onto skewers.
  • Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, spray the skewers with olive oil before air frying.
  • You can substitute the chicken breast with chicken thighs for a juicier option.
  • If you want more heat, add a bit of sriracha to the mayo mixture.
