These crispy, flavorful Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon Bites are coated in a spicy, creamy sauce with a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a quick and easy meal or a delicious appetizer, these salmon bites are a crowd-pleaser and full of bold flavors.

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon, skin removed, cut into 1-inch bites
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Chives, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon bites and toss them to coat evenly in the seasoning mixture.
  • Place the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  • Air fry the salmon bites for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the salmon is cooking, in a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey until smooth and well-combined.
  • Once the salmon bites are done, toss them in the prepared sauce until fully coated.
  • Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your heat preference.
  • You can substitute the honey with maple syrup for a different flavor profile.
  • For extra crispy salmon bites, you can spray the air fryer basket with a light coat of cooking spray before placing the salmon bites inside.
