  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Icing:

  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Lightly grease a pan or skillet.
  • Prepare the Sugar Mixture: In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Coat the Biscuits: Dip each biscuit in the melted butter, ensuring all sides are covered. Then, coat the biscuits with the sugar mixture. Arrange them in the prepared pan.
  • Prepare the Apple Filling: Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Assemble and Bake: Spread the apple pie filling over the arranged biscuits. Sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture and any leftover melted butter on top. Bake for 35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Make the Icing: In a small bowl, mix the confectioners sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
