Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños, chopped
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, for coating

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Place coated cheese balls on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the cheese balls for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • These cheese balls can also be deep-fried for a different texture, frying them for about 2-3 minutes until golden.
  • If you prefer a milder version, use fewer jalapeños or substitute with sweet peppers.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce such as ranch or sour cream for extra flavor.
