These homemade baked donuts are light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Perfectly golden-brown, they are a healthier alternative to fried donuts, yet still indulgent enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. Enjoy them fresh from the oven for a delightful breakfast or snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a donut pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until donuts spring back when touched.
  • Allow the donuts to cool slightly before removing them from the pan.
