Description

This Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish with a crispy golden coating. The combination of garlic, Parmesan, and herbs gives the chicken a savory, delicious taste while keeping it tender and juicy inside. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs

  • ⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a shallow bowl, combine the dry bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried basil, and black pepper.

  • In a separate bowl, add the olive oil and minced garlic, mixing well.

  • Dip each chicken breast half into the olive oil and garlic mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.

  • Next, coat the chicken breasts in the bread crumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to make sure the coating sticks.

  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some fresh parsley on top after baking.

  • If you prefer a crispier coating, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
