Description

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir this mixture into the butter mixture until smooth.
  • Fold in Bananas and Other Ingredients:
    Fold in the sour cream, walnuts, and mashed bananas.
  • Bake the Brownies:
    Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

  • If you prefer a more banana-forward flavor, you can add an additional mashed banana.
  • You can substitute walnuts with other nuts like pecans or leave them out for a nut-free version.
