- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
- Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer the cooked sausage, hash browns, and cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the other ingredients in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle some extra cheese on top of the casserole during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- You can substitute the hashbrowns with fresh grated potatoes if preferred.
