  • 2 cups cooked brisket, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapenos, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: BBQ sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out one pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Layer the shredded brisket evenly on the bottom of the crust.
  • Add the sliced jalapenos and pickles on top of the brisket.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the jalapenos and pickles.
  • Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges together. Cut a few small slits in the top for steam to escape.
  • Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let the pie cool slightly before slicing. Serve with BBQ sauce if desired.
