This Bruschetta Dip combines the fresh, tangy flavors of a classic bruschetta with a creamy, cheesy layer. Topped with marinated tomatoes, fresh basil, and a smooth feta and cream cheese dip, it’s the perfect appetizer for any party or gathering. Serve it with crackers, pita chips, or toasted bread for a bite-sized treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale

For the bruschetta:

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, cored and diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, to taste

For the cheese layer:

  • 8 oz block of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese (half a block)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

To garnish:

  • More basil leaves, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Core and dice the Roma tomatoes into small cubes.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Toss to coat. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the cheese mixture: In the bowl of a food processor, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Puree for 3-4 minutes until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Scoop the cheese mixture onto a shallow serving plate or bowl.
  • Top with the prepared bruschetta mixture.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and additional chopped basil.
  • Serve with crackers, pita chips, or toasted bread.

Notes

  • Allow the bruschetta mixture to marinate for 10 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  • If you prefer a more intense garlic flavor, add an additional garlic clove to the cheese mixture.
  • You can make the cheese mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to serve.
