Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the honey, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is well combined and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the Cajun honey butter sauce.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for a spicier kick.
