- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the honey, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is well combined and fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the Cajun honey butter sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
