Description

These warm, soft cookies combine the delicious flavors of caramel and fresh apples in every bite. With a hint of cinnamon and a chewy texture, these cookies are perfect for fall or any time you’re craving a sweet, fruity treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped apples and caramel bits.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or using Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast to the sweetness.
