- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped apples and caramel bits.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or using Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast to the sweetness.
