  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  • Stir in chopped apples and caramel bits.
  • Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
