- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the diced apples and caramel bits.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
