- 1 1/2 cups milk

- 1/4 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Apples: Toss the chopped apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the oats, nuts, and raisins if using.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine: Stir the wet mixture into the dry oat mixture until well combined.
- Layer: Spread half of the oat mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with the seasoned apples, then pour the remaining oat mixture over the apples, spreading it evenly.
- Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set.
- Cool and Drizzle: Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with caramel sauce.
