Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the Apples: Toss the chopped apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.

  • Cool and Drizzle: Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with caramel sauce.
  • Serve: Enjoy warm for a comforting breakfast or dessert!
