- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- For the Assembly:
- 1/2 cup crushed pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Additional caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Bake the Brownies:
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box.
- Prepare the brownie mix as directed, swirling in 1/2 cup of caramel sauce before baking.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake as instructed.
- Let the brownies cool completely, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in 1/2 cup caramel sauce.
- Assemble the Trifle:
- In a trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer brownie pieces on the bottom.
- Add a layer of the caramel cheesecake mixture on top.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheesecake mixture.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle with crushed pecans or walnuts if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
