Indulge in these rich and creamy caramel crunch freakshakes, topped with whipped cream, pretzels, caramel candies, and extra caramel sauce. Perfect for a special treat or a fun dessert!

For the Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Milkshake:

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

For the Toppings:

  • Whipped cream
  • Crushed pretzels
  • Crushed caramel candies
  • Extra caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare the Caramel Sauce
    • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar, stirring constantly until it turns a deep amber color.
    • Add the butter and stir until melted and combined. Remove from heat and slowly add the heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Stir in the salt and allow to cool slightly.
  • Make the Milkshake
    • In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and 1/2 cup of caramel sauce. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Freakshakes
    • Drizzle caramel sauce inside the glasses, allowing it to swirl around the sides.
    • Pour the milkshake into the glasses.
    • Top with whipped cream, then sprinkle with crushed pretzels and caramel candies.
    • Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top.

Notes

  • Serving Tip: For an extra touch, garnish with a cherry or more crushed pretzels.
