Description

This hearty and comforting Cheeseburger Casserole combines seasoned ground beef, cheesy goodness, and tender pasta in one easy-to-make dish. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s a crowd-pleaser that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 2 cans of tomato soup (10.5 oz each)
  • 3 cups of cheese (any kind, shredded)
  • 1 pound of shells pasta (or any pasta of your choice)

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned and fully cooked. Cook the pasta (shells) according to the package instructions, saving some pasta water.
  • Combine the cooked beef, pasta, and tomato soup in a large mixing bowl. Add about half of the shredded cheese, reserving the rest for topping. Add some pasta water to the mixture to help create a creamy texture.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, then bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any cheese that melts well, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend.
  • For extra flavor, try adding some seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or dried oregano to the beef mixture.
  • Add some vegetables like peas, bell peppers, or mushrooms to the casserole for a more balanced dish.

  • Cook Time: 30 minutes (20 minutes covered, 10 minutes uncovered)
