Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Prepare the crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into individual triangles.
  • Make the cream cheese filling: In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-combined.
  • Assemble the buns: Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle.
  • Roll the croissants: Roll up each crescent roll with the cream cheese mixture inside and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  • Add butter and cinnamon sugar: Pour the melted butter evenly over the rolled croissants and sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Serve: Allow the buns to cool slightly and enjoy them warm or chilled!
