Description

A fresh twist on traditional cheesecake, these cheesecake-filled strawberries are a perfect bite-sized treat. With a creamy, rich filling and a crunchy graham cracker crust, they’re a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The strawberry gelatin and freeze-dried strawberries add a unique touch that enhances the sweet, tangy profile.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1824 large strawberries – washed and dried
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional for a citrus twist)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 pack of Golden Oreos – crushed
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 packet strawberry gelatin mix (3 oz)
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries – crushed

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Cut the tops off the strawberries and carefully hollow out the center using a small spoon or melon baller, leaving a small border around the edges. Set the hollowed strawberries aside.
  • Make the Cheesecake Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add the heavy whipping cream, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice (if using), and continue to beat until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
  • Prepare the Crust:
    • In a separate bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, crushed Golden Oreos, melted butter, and strawberry gelatin mix. Mix until the crumbs are well coated and everything is combined.
  • Assemble the Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries:
    • Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into each hollowed strawberry, filling them generously.
    • Sprinkle the prepared crust mixture on top of each filled strawberry.
    • Sprinkle the crushed freeze-dried strawberries on top for added flavor and texture.
  • Chill and Serve:
    • Place the filled strawberries in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it for a few hours before assembling.
  • If you prefer, you can substitute the Golden Oreos with graham crackers or another cookie of your choice.
  • For an extra touch, garnish the strawberries with a small mint leaf or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
