Description

These Cheesy Beef Wraps are packed with seasoned ground beef, two types of melted cheese, and wrapped in soft tortillas. Quick, satisfying, and full of flavor, they’re perfect for a weeknight dinner or a fun family meal. Top them with your favorite salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for extra deliciousness!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Filling:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • ½ tsp chili powder
    • ½ tsp cumin
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • For the Wraps:
    • 4 large flour tortillas
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional Garnishes:
    • 1 cup salsa
    • Fresh cilantro, chopped
    • Sour cream or guacamole for serving

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to allow the spices to fully combine with the beef. Remove from heat.
  • Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  • Divide the beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, spreading it out in the center of each.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef mixture.
  • Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go to form a wrap.
  • Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the wraps are golden brown and the cheese has melted inside.
  • Serve the wraps with salsa, chopped cilantro, and sour cream or guacamole if desired.

Notes

  • You can add more vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the filling for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
