- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Steam the broccoli florets until tender, then place them in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture becomes smooth and thickened.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the steamed broccoli in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top of the broccoli.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
