- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese until melted.
- Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For added flavor, consider mixing in cooked bacon or breadcrumbs on top before baking.
