- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices of garlic bread
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat.
- Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
- Place a slice of bread, butter side down, on the griddle. Top with a handful of Monterey Jack cheese, a few shrimp, and another slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients.
