Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices of garlic bread
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  • Season shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat.
  • Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
  • Place a slice of bread, butter side down, on the griddle. Top with a handful of Monterey Jack cheese, a few shrimp, and another slice of bread, butter side up.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the Monterey Jack cheese with other melty cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar if preferred.
