Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese sticks cut into small pieces)
- 24 slices pepperoni (about 3 slices per bomb)
- ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce, plus more for dipping
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuit dough into 8 individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin into a round shape.
- Place a slice or two of pepperoni in the center of each flattened biscuit, followed by a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Spoon a small amount of marinara or pizza sauce onto the cheese, then fold the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch them together to seal.
- Place the pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the top of each pizza bomb.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pizza bombs for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
- Serve warm with extra marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can use store-bought or homemade marinara sauce, depending on your preference.
- For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture for a little heat.
- If you prefer, you can substitute the pepperoni with other pizza toppings such as sausage, ham, or vegetables.
