- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs

- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Combine the flour and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Spread the cherry pie filling over the batter.
- Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over the filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes in the preheated oven, or until top is set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
