Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
    • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken:
    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add the diced chicken, black pepper, and paprika. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
    • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Combine and Cook:
    • Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, and heavy cream. Mix until well combined.
    • Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream and reduce the amount of cheese.
  • This dish is also great with added veggies like broccoli or spinach.
