Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, coffee, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the greased doughnut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a doughnut comes out clean.
  • Allow the doughnuts to cool slightly in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • You can top the doughnuts with a dusting of powdered sugar or cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
