- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)*
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
For the Coating:
- 10 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
- 2 oz white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and milk, mixing well.
- Gradually add the heat-treated flour, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into small heart-shaped balls or your preferred shape.
- Melt the semi-sweet or milk chocolate and dip the dough shapes into the chocolate, coating them thoroughly.
- If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate and add any sprinkles or edible glitter.
- Place the cookie dough hearts on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
