These sweet and indulgent Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Hearts are a no-bake treat perfect for celebrations or a fun twist on traditional cookie dough. With rich chocolate chips inside and a smooth chocolate coating, they’re irresistible! Decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter for a festive touch.

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)*
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Coating:

  • 10 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
  • 2 oz white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)

Optional Decorations:

  • Sprinkles
  • Edible glitter

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and milk, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the heat-treated flour, mixing until combined.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Shape the dough into small heart-shaped balls or your preferred shape.
  • Melt the semi-sweet or milk chocolate and dip the dough shapes into the chocolate, coating them thoroughly.
  • If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate and add any sprinkles or edible glitter.
  • Place the cookie dough hearts on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

  • Be sure to heat-treat the flour before using it to ensure it is safe to eat raw.
