Ingredients

1 box brownie mix (for an 8″x8″ baking dish)

1 lb strawberries, stems removed and halved
For the Chocolate Ganache:

1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or use part dark chocolate)

¾ cup heavy cream (up to 1 cup if needed for consistency)
Instructions

Prepare brownies: Make the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake in an 8″x8″ pan. Allow brownies to cool completely.

Arrange strawberries: Once brownies are cool, evenly place halved strawberries on top, cut side down or up based on preference.

Make ganache: Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir gently until smooth and glossy. Add more cream if needed for a pourable consistency.

Cover brownies: Pour ganache evenly over strawberries and brownies, spreading gently to coat all berries.

Set: Refrigerate brownies for at least 30 minutes until ganache is firm.
