- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice and zest until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- Pour the mousse mixture into dome molds, smoothing the tops.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mousse is set and firm.
- Carefully remove the mousse domes from the molds and serve chilled. Garnish with additional lemon zest or chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
- If you don’t have dome molds, you can use small bowls or ramekins to shape the mousse.
