Description

This indulgent Chocolate Peanut Butter Poke Cake is a perfect dessert for peanut butter lovers. With layers of creamy peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, hot fudge sauce, and whipped topping, this cake is a deliciously rich treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar hot fudge sauce
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  • Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions.
  • Once the cake is done, use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  • Microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds until smooth and pour over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes as well.
  • Heat the hot fudge sauce in the microwave and pour over the cake.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour.
  • Spread whipped topping over the cake and sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.

Notes

For extra peanut butter flavor, you can swirl some of the peanut butter into the whipped topping before spreading it on the cake. Keep the cake refrigerated until ready to serve.
