Instructions
- Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls:
- Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into 4 bite-sized pieces.
- Make the French Toast Mixture:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Coat the Cinnamon Roll Pieces:
- Dip each piece of the cinnamon roll dough into the egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated.
- Cook the Bites:
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook each piece for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.
- Drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top, or dust with powdered sugar.
