Description

Start your morning right with these Cinnamon Roll Pancakes—a perfect combination of fluffy pancakes and warm cinnamon roll flavor. With a hint of vanilla, cinnamon, and a drizzle of maple syrup, these pancakes are a sweet, comforting treat that will make breakfast feel extra special.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix—some lumps are fine!
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Optionally, add whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra indulgence.

Notes

  • For an extra cinnamon swirl effect, you can add a cinnamon-sugar swirl to the pancakes by mixing 1 tablespoon of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, then drizzling the mixture on top of the batter while it cooks, before flipping.
  • These pancakes are perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Serve them with your favorite fruit or bacon for a complete meal.
  • If you don’t have buttermilk, you can substitute it with regular milk mixed with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar.
