Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

- For a cinnamon-sugar coating, you can brush the top of the loaf with melted butter and sprinkle a cinnamon-sugar mixture on top after baking.
