Instructions
- Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet or saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Vegetables:
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
