Description

These Crab Cake Egg Rolls are a crispy, golden, and flavorful fusion of two beloved dishes. Packed with lump crab meat and seasoned to perfection, they make a delicious appetizer or snack. Easy to make and fry, these egg rolls will be a hit at your next gathering or dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Place a spoonful of the crab mixture onto each egg roll wrapper, then roll up, sealing the edges according to package instructions.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the egg rolls in batches, cooking for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure oil is at the correct temperature to avoid soggy egg rolls. You can test with a small piece of bread or batter to check if it fries instantly.
  • You can also bake the egg rolls at 400°F for 12-15 minutes for a healthier version.
