Description

Indulge in a luxurious and creamy Crab Fettuccine Alfredo that combines rich flavors and tender crab meat. This decadent dish offers a perfect balance of creamy Alfredo sauce, perfectly cooked fettuccine, and the sweet, delicate taste of lump crab. Ideal for a special dinner or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb lump crabmeat
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently fold in the lump crabmeat and cook for another 2 minutes until the crab is warmed through.
  • Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well-coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute the crab with shrimp or chicken for variations.
  • This dish is best served fresh, but any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
