Description

  • 5 regular cans of green beans, drained (or about 4 12-ounce bags of thawed frozen green beans, or fresh green beans)
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 7 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Prepare Beans: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the drained green beans in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Add Bacon: Sprinkle the cooked and crumbled bacon over the green beans.
  • Make the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
  • Combine: Pour the sauce evenly over the green beans and bacon in the pan.
  • Bake: Bake for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
