Description

This Creamy Chicken Pasta is the perfect comforting dish with tender chicken, rich cream sauce, and a burst of flavor from fresh tomatoes and Parmesan. It’s quick to make and sure to satisfy your cravings for a creamy, savory meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add Cheese and Tomatoes: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Combine Pasta and Chicken: Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together to coat evenly in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil for garnish and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
