Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Shrimp:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add Cheese and Lemon:
    • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Continue to simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Combine:
    • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the creamy garlic sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
