Description

Tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich mustard and cream sauce, topped with crispy bacon and fresh parsley. A simple yet delicious dinner that is sure to impress.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sear chicken breasts over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Add chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat and let the sauce cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle it over the chicken.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For a richer sauce, you can increase the amount of heavy cream.
