- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sear chicken breasts over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Add chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and let the sauce cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle it over the chicken.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.
