Description

This crispy baked chicken is topped with a deliciously sweet and tangy maple Dijon glaze, offering the perfect balance of flavors. The maple syrup adds a touch of sweetness while the Dijon mustard brings in just the right amount of tang, making it an irresistible dinner option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the maple Dijon mixture over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Optional: broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to crisp up the chicken.
  • Serve hot with extra glaze drizzled on top. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a thicker glaze, reduce the maple syrup slightly by simmering it for a few minutes before mixing with the mustard.
  • Serve this chicken with roasted vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
