    • 1 large egg, beaten (for sealing)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  • Assemble the Egg Rolls:
    • Lay out an egg roll wrapper with one corner pointing towards you.
    • Spoon 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of the wrapper, then top with a tablespoon of cherry pie filling.
  • Roll the Egg Rolls:
    • Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
    • Seal the edges with the beaten egg to ensure they stay closed during frying.
  • Fry the Egg Rolls:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
    • Fry the egg rolls in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
    • Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
