Description

These Crispy Chicken Cutlets are a classic favorite, perfectly golden on the outside and juicy on the inside. Coated in a crispy breadcrumb crust and seasoned to perfection, they make for a quick and delicious meal. Serve them with your favorite side dishes for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
  • You can also serve the cutlets with a squeeze of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
  • If you prefer, you can skip the oven step and cook the chicken entirely in the skillet, though baking helps to ensure they are fully cooked.
