Description

These crispy chicken tenders paired with golden, crispy fries make the perfect comfort food meal. The chicken tenders are breaded and baked to perfection, while the fries are deep-fried for that irresistible crunch. Serve this easy and satisfying dish with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb potatoes
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge the chicken tenders in flour, dip them in beaten eggs, then coat them with bread crumbs.
  • Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • While the chicken is baking, peel and cut the potatoes into fries.
  • Heat cooking oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the potato fries in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  • Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • Serve the crispy chicken tenders with the fries, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispy chicken tenders, you can refrigerate the breaded tenders for 30 minutes before baking.
  • You can also season the fries with your favorite spices, such as paprika or garlic powder.
  • If you prefer to make the fries healthier, bake them at 400°F on a separate baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
