  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In one bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In another bowl, place crushed pretzels. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat with crushed pretzels.
  • Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the pretzel crust is crispy.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and honey. Cook until cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Serve the crispy pretzel-crusted chicken with the cheddar-mustard sauce drizzled on top.
