- 1 (3-4 lb) chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 5–6 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Place chuck roast in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Place stick of butter on top of the roast.
- Add pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred beef and serve with the juices.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more pepperoncini peppers or include some of the pepper’s brine.
- This roast pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or on a sandwich bun.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
