Description

Tender, flavorful beef tips slow-cooked to perfection and served over wide egg noodles create a hearty and comforting meal. With simple pantry ingredients like brown gravy and au jus mix, this easy crockpot recipe is perfect for busy days when you want a satisfying dinner waiting for you.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef stew meat

  • 1 (0.87-ounce) packet brown gravy mix

  • 1 (1-ounce) packet au jus mix

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 (12-ounce) package wide egg noodles

Instructions

  • Place the beef stew meat in the slow cooker.

  • Sprinkle the brown gravy mix and au jus mix evenly over the beef.

  • Pour in 1 cup of water. Stir gently to combine.

  • Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until beef is tender.

  • About 20 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.

  • Stir cooked noodles into the crockpot with the beef tips, mixing gently to coat noodles with the gravy.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For thicker gravy, remove the lid and cook on high for an additional 15 minutes to reduce liquid before adding noodles.

  • Add mushrooms or onions at the beginning for extra flavor.

  • Leftovers keep well and reheat nicely.
